Business GIS Methods & Applications: An Applied Handbook for Analysis in Retail & Business Geography

Picture
This practical handbook addresses two primary themes in retail and business GIS analysis.
  • Part A, “Foundational Methods”, summarizes a small but powerful set of methods that provide a basic toolkit for GIS analysis in retail and business geography.
  • Part B, “Application Areas”, addresses a small number of common but more advanced applications that use the foundational methods as building blocks in creating solutions to more complex challenges.
The conclusion and appendices address the broader issue of emerging trends in retail and business practice and how students in the area might plan to address further, higher-order GIS problems in retail and business.
