Dogs

I have been fortunate to have four very different dogs in my family.

Farley, the dog we had to leave behind in Canada

Nox

Nox

Born in California. Abandoned at a Saskatchewan truck stop. The little face in the top cage at the Saskatoon SPCA.
With us through the birth of two boys, life in three houses, a move to Texas, a trip to the emergency room, the coming of two sister dogs, and the leaving of one.
Discoverer of mountain lakes, ant hills in the park, and numerous cats threatening our back yard. Intrepid traveler from Saskatchewan to the Gulf of Mexico, and everywhere in between.
Through it all, loyal, and loved more than you could imagine.
Goodbye, old and dear friend. I would do it all again in a heartbeat.
