US & Canada: Cities, Economies, and Sustainability
This course is an introduction to a regional geographic perspective on the United States and Canada. The primary focus of the course is on the urban and economic dimension of life in the two countries, but our class discussions, readings and exercises will also pull together many diverse elements that make the regions of North America what they have been, what they are, and what they are becoming. The course provides excellent background knowledge and specific urban and economic insights for geographers and non-geographers alike.
