Applied Retail Geography
This joint undergraduate/graduate course is an introduction to the concepts, models and methods used by geographers working in an applied retail location environment. Retail businesses need to understand how cities are evolving so they can make effective plans for future investment decisions. We will see how geographers are making a contribution to solving some of the most important issues that face commercial businesses and cities today. The skills taught in this course lead to a variety of great career opportunities.
